Limited Shellfish Permit - Renewals
Since 2011 North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority has been undertaking a comprehensive review of all its legacy byelaw regulations which has included its shellfish permitting byelaw regulation (Byelaw XXII 'Permit to Fish for Lobster, Crab, Velvet Crab and Whelk') which was last updated in 2007.
LSP Hobby permits will expire on the 31 December 2016, however, due to the pending byelaw review, we will not be circulating renewal applications for 2017 permits, all current valid 2016 LSP permits will remain valid until further notice or revoked in writing.
Please note it is the permit holder's responsibility to ensure that they conform to the Authority's byelaws, any persons breaching the Authority's byelaw regulations could upon conviction be fined up to a maximum of £50,000.
