Sunset Potting Applications

On 30 August 2019, all affected permit holders were advised in writing of recent changes to regulations relating to potting within the Authority's district.

Specifically,  the owners of any permitted vessel, between 10 and 14 metres overall length, were advised that they must apply to be placed on a 'Sunset List' if they wished to continue potting inside the three-mile limit.

Please note that the deadline for receipt of applications is Monday 10 February 2020.

Any applications received after this date will not be considered for inclusion on the 'Sunset List' and such applicants will only be able to work pots outside the 3-mile limit.

If you have already submitted an application no further action is required at this time.

Humber Trawl Permit Applications

On 30 August 2019, all affected permit holders were advised in writing of recent changes to regulations relating to trawling within the Humber Estuary.

Specifically,  the owners of any permitted vessels possessing a valid track recording of catch and landing fish and shrimps within the Humber Estuary must apply for a Humber Trawl Permit if they wish to continue trawling within the estuary. 

Please note that the deadline for receipt of applications is Monday 17 February 2020.

Any applications received after this date will not be considered and such applicants will not be permitted to trawl within the Humber Estuary in the future.
